About J. J. Fury
J.J. Fury is the pen name for friends and author/editor duo Jason A. Rust and Jennie Kendrick.
Jason is the author of middle grade novels like THE SECRET OF COMMANDER'S MANSION and SHIRLEY HOLMES AND THE CASE OF THE RAVEN'S EYE, as well as adult titles FAMINE and GOLDENSHIELD, writing under the name J. R. Andrews. He once made his entire personality "cool socks" for a whole year and generously lends his strong opinions about whiskey to characters like Alex Sturmgarten. Jason lives in Kentucky with his wife and children.
Jennie is a literary agent and former criminal defense lawyer living in San Francisco. When she's not editing or trying to match editors and readers with the perfect books (which are always her clients' manuscripts, strangely enough), she works to make a better life for her neighborhood crows. Jennie owns far too many tarot decks and never misses an opportunity to share a "fun" historical fact, regardless of whether anyone actually finds it fun. To her knowledge, there has never been an Officer Streetbeefs on the San Francisco police force.
